Overview

Welcome to our BIP program, dedicated to revolutionizing sustainable cities through interdisciplinary collaboration. With input from experts across Europe, we aim to break conventional boundaries and foster fresh insights for holistic urban solutions. Through lectures, discussions, and practical case studies, participants will explore themes such as urban design, cultural integration, and technological innovation. By the end of the workshop, attendees will possess the tools and inspiration to address the complexities of sustainable urban development, culminating in the creation of innovative concepts for both utopian and dystopian cities.

Join us in shaping a brighter future for urban environments, where cities thrive in harmony with nature and enhance the quality of life for all residents!

Workshop Objectives

Interdisciplinary Exchange: This program aims to unite scholars, students and practitioners from diverse fields, including environmental humanities, arts, architecture, social sciences, and more. By embracing interdisciplinary collaboration, we seek to break down silos and catalyze innovative ideas.

Lectures/ Workshops from Leading Experts: Throughout the workshop, participants will have the opportunity of attending lectures by experts in fields such as botanics, dystopian cities, and virtual reality architecture. These lectures will provide valuable insights and inspire new ways of thinking about sustainable cities.

Critical Thinking: Participants will engage in thought-provoking discussions and activities that challenge existing notions of sustainability. By questioning assumptions and exploring alternative viewpoints, we will lay the groundwork for a more inclusive and adaptive urban future.

Practical Application: We believe in bridging theory with practice. Throughout the workshop, attendees will have the opportunity to work on real-world case studies and propose concrete solutions that can be implemented in urban contexts across Europe.

Cultural Exchange: Sustainability is not solely an academic pursuit but a societal and cultural one. We encourage participants to share their unique cultural perspectives, fostering a rich tapestry of ideas and approaches that can be applied to cities of varying sizes and contexts.
