Apostamos por la investigación artística

Este congreso busca resaltar y estudiar la convergencia entre prácticas artísticas y su vinculación con la investigación y la enseñanza universitaria en artes.

Las líneas de investigación y temáticas del congreso son:

DORA GARCÍA

Dora García lives and works in Oslo. She currently teaches at Oslo National Academy of the Arts, Norway. She has represented Spain at the Venice Biennale in 2011 and was present again in the Venice Biennale 2013.

She took part in the 56th Venice International Art Exhibition, dOCUMENTA(13), and other international events such as Münster Sculpture Projects in 2007, Sydney Biennale in 2008, and São Paulo Biennale in 2010. Her work is largely performative and deals with issues related to community and individuality in contemporary society, exploring the political potential of marginal positions, and paying homage to eccentric characters and antiheroes. These eccentric characters have often been the center of her film projects, such as The Joycean Society (2013), and Segunda Vez (2018). In her new film Amor Rojo (2023) she uses the figure of Alexandra Kollontai (1872–1952), a Marxist theorist and Soviet revolutionary, radical feminist and sexual activist, as a guide to walk the labyrinth of female freedom, sexual emancipation, and love as weapon.

KAWASE NAOMI

A filmmaker who continues to create films based in her hometown of Nara, where she was born and raised.Her consistent pursuit of "reality" transcends the boundaries between documentary and fiction, earning her numerous awards at film festivals around the world, including the Cannes Film Festival.

Besides Genpin, her notable works include Suzaku, The Mourning Forest, Still the Water, Sweet Bean, Radiance, and True Mothers. While expanding her creative activities globally, she founded the "Nara International Film Festival" in 2010 in her hometown of Nara, actively contributing to the development of the next generation of filmmakers. She has served as the General Director of the official film for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, a UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador, Special International Ambassador of Nara Prefecture, and a Senior Advisor and Theme Project Producer for the 2025 Osaka-Kansai Expo. Her activities span various genres, including directing commercials, writing essays, and acting. In her personal life, she has been growing rice for over ten years. A new feature film is coming in 2025.

El precio de registro será 25€. El proceso se abrirá una vez las propuestas sean seleccionadas por el Comité Científico. Todas las modalidades deberán presentar un resumen (abstract) de 300 palabras como máximo.

La 2ª edición del Congreso de la AIE

Celebrada en 2023, reunió a investigadores y artistas de todo el mundo. Durante dos días se presentaron talleres, ponencias, videoensayos, instalaciones, entre otros. Como ponentes plenarios participaron el fotógrafo Joan Fontcuberta y la artista visual Camille Henrot.

La 3ª edición del Congreso de la AIE

La III Edición ha generado un monográfico en Arte y Educación que saldrá publicado próximamente en la revista Ciencia y Educación publicada por el Instituto Tecnológico de Santo Domingo (INTEC). Está indexada en DOAJ, LATINDEX, ERIHPLUS, entre otros.

En esta edición también colaboraremos con una revista científica para dar la posibilidad a participantes de tener una publicación de impacto vinculada al congreso.
