Career path
Filmmaker, teacher and film programmer.
His films have been screened in places such as the Louvre Museum, the Reina Sofía Museum, the Cinematek in Brussels, the Milan Triennale, the Palazzo Ca' Zanardi in Venice or the New York University.
He has been an external advisor to the Museum of Modern Art in Mexico and has taught film courses in Spain, Mexico, Cuba and Ecuador.
Among his publications, he has multiple scientific articles and contributions to national and international books.
He has worked as a programmer for the official sections of the Punto de Vista and Documenta Madrid festivals. Since 2016 he has been carrying out exhibition projects of expanded cinema, crossing sculpture and moving image together with the French sculptor Jeanne de Petriconi.
In 2019 he published his book Cinema about art. From the dramatization of painting to the film-essay (Ediciones Shangrila), from which he has programmed the cycle Cinema about art. A century of experimentation for the Reina Sofía Museum.
