Career path
She has extensive experience as a researcher at the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters of the Autonomous University of Madrid.
Her activity around benshi and Japanese cinema and theater have led her to spend long periods as a researcher at the Department of Cinema and Theater at Waseda University in Tokyo and at the Department of Urban Studies at Tokyo National University.
It has been selected in the scholarship program of the Government of Japan and the Japan Foundation, thanks to the latter institution and in collaboration with the S8 Film Festival of A Coruña, Filmoteca Española and Filmoteca de Catalunya that the first demonstration of benshi was programmed. in Spain in 2014.
He has presented his work at various international conferences in Asia, Europe and the United States. In addition, she has publications in different international impact journals such as City, Regional Studies, Regional Science and Sequences.
