Career path
Film editor, documentary filmmaker and university lecturer, with experience in film, television series and documentary, and a continued specialization in film editing as a narrative and audiovisual thinking tool.
Since 2007 he has been developing his professional activity through MASPELICULAS SL, combining the editing of top-level feature films and series with the direction and editing of auteur documentary projects.
He has worked as an editor on several Spanish film and television productions, collaborating regularly with Mariano Barroso and Javier Fesser. His most notable works include:
- the invisible line (Movistar +),
- Tomorrow (Movistar +),
- Champions,
- All women (feature film and series, Goya Award for Best Adapted Screenplay),
- the invisible monster,
- best of eve,
- La madriguera.
In parallel, he has developed a solid career as a teacher specializing in film editing. He has been an Associate Professor at the Miguel Hernández University of Elche since 2014.
For the past 4 years he has been a professor of Fiction Editing and a project tutor in the Master's program in Editing and Color Correction at the School TAIwhere he teaches courses focused on editing as the construction of meaning, rhythm, and point of view. He also teaches Audiovisual Editing and Film Editing II in the Audiovisual Communication degree program. TAIHe is also an academic tutor for the MASTER in ASSEMBLY AND COLOR CORRECTION and MASTER IN POST-PRODUCTION AND VFX
He has been the academic coordinator of the Editing and Assembly degree at the Ciudad de la Luz Study Center and has extensive experience as a technical and creative trainer, combining the teaching of professional tools with a deep reflection on editing as a cinematic language.
As a creator, he is co-director, screenwriter and editor of the feature-length documentary La Festa (2024–), together with Manuel Gutiérrez Aragón, National Film Award winner, a project that connects his editing practice with the concern about the study of memory, ritual and cultural transmission.

Interest in film editing as the core of audiovisual language, both in fiction and documentary, and in its ability to generate meaning, emotion, and thought.
Explore the relationship between editing, narrative and new technologies, with special attention to the applications of artificial intelligence in audiovisual creation processes, material analysis, content organization and support for creative decisions, always maintaining a critical view of its impact on authorship and cinematic language.
