Career path
Since the 80s, he has taught photography at all levels, while simultaneously developing an extensive commercial career in advertising and industrial photography, as well as providing his own training. He holds a degree in Information Sciences from the Complutense University of Madrid (UCM). In 1991, he opened his own photography studio in Madrid. In 1994, he founded B19 Fotografía, a company that channels his photographic and teaching activities. He has taught advertising, journalistic, and artistic photography at UFV and UCJC, and photography at CETYS University in Madrid.
Founding member of the University Photography Conferences (JUF) from 1980 to 1987 convened by the University Halls of Residence of the Complutense University of Madrid.
Secretary of the Board of Directors of the entreFotos Association, creator of the author photography fairs from 1999 to 2005. Executive Director of the 6th edition (2004) held at the Conde Duque Cultural Center in Madrid.
He is currently a professor of photography at the Diploma, Bachelor's and Master's levels. TAI (URJ) and maintains its commercial and artistic activity.
Since 2012, he has directed the Photography and Training Department at Sybaria, focusing on specialized photographic training and high-quality photography. He currently has extensive experience in digitization, art reproduction, portraiture, and studio lighting.
He has always produced a body of work as an author, which has barely been published.
