Career path
For more than a decade he has worked as an editor and post-production coordinator on film and television projects.
He alternates professional activity with technological advice to companies, university teaching (ESCAC, Escuela TAI), research and dissemination on film editing.
With Iván Aledo, he promoted the “Montar, Soñar” cycle of colloquiums and screenings of the Film Academy Foundation.
Through the production company Mikel Iribarren PC, he collaborates in the development and promotion of audiovisual projects. The productions in which he has participated have been selected in more than 200 international festivals such as Cannes, Seattle, Los Angeles, Clermont-Ferrand, Toulouse, San Sebastián, the Seminci of Valladolid or the Seville European Film Festival, and have been recognized with several dozen awards in different countries including a FIPRESCI award.
