Training
Diploma in Film Directing at the school TAIFrom Madrid – 1984 – 86. Twice awarded a grant by the ICAA (Spanish Institute of Cinematography and Audiovisual Arts) for feature film screenwriting in 1995 and 1997, for the projects “Polizones” and “Arderás conmigo”. Advanced screenwriting seminars taught by Linda Seger and Phil Parker.
Career path
Screenwriter and director freelance From 1993 to the present, he has directed more than a dozen television series. He is also the director of the feature film "Arderás conmigo" (You Will Burn with Me), selected for the Seminci Film Festival in Valladolid, and winner of the Best First Feature Film award at the Madrid Imagen Film Festival in 2002.
In 2013 he made his first foray into the world of theater with the play "Mortgage Execution", which premiered at the Mirador theater in Madrid in January 2014, and won the 2015 MAX Award for best new author.
He has also recently written and directed the documentaries: “Of General Interest”, which premiered at the Verdi cinema in Madrid in February 2022 and can be seen on the FILMIN platform, “Ten for Freedom”, about the 1001 trial, currently on RTVE play, and “Class Pride”, which recounts various episodes of the workers' movement in Castile and León.
Activities that he combines with teaching in the Master's program in screenwriting at the Carlos III University, where he is part of the team of tutors for feature film final projects, and at the university school TAI.

Research lines
He is currently working on a feature-length documentary project financed by the FRAVM (Regional Federation of Neighborhood Associations of Madrid), to mark the fiftieth anniversary of its legalization.
