Career path
Visual researcher and senior professor in the field of media studies, with a special focus on frame politics and the study of limits in the cinematographic and photographic image.
He has a career of more than 17 years of university teaching. For four editions, she has been in charge of coordinating the photographic conferences of "Encontexto: meetings for the reflection of photography in Spain", in collaboration with La Casa Encendida.
As a visual artist, he has exhibited his work in multiple national and international exhibitions in prestigious places such as the Institute of Contemporary Arts in London, the Photoespaña festival, or individual exhibitions financed by the Champagne Ardenne region in France. In addition, she has received multiple awards in international professional photography competitions in the categories of landscape, environment and art, as well as artist residency grants in France and Germany.
His research has been published in prestigious magazines such as Archivos de la Filmoteca, Goya and L'Atalante, among others.
He has given numerous conferences nationally and internationally on visual studies and the relationships between photography, film and society.
