Training
Javier Miñón Echevarría graduated in Philosophy from the UAM in 1984. He later learned the craft of screenwriting from leading professionals in the industry through courses organized in the INEM's Professional Training and Insertion Program in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture between 87 and 90, for whom he carried out his first professional work before starting a career that spanned thirty years in film and television.
Career path
His career as a screenwriter spans television from 1988-2001 where he creates original ideas and writes scripts for different successful series such as "Lleno, por favor", "Quién da la vez?" or "Manos a la obra", all of them winners of several EGEDA awards.
He also combines his work by collaborating on different film projects, including those of his brother, director Juan Miñón, whose feature films have received national and international nominations and awards.
Her teaching career began in 2002 and continues to this day, with over three thousand students to her name. Over time, her collaboration with the Tai University School in Madrid has grown, and she has directed the Screenwriting Master's program for a decade while continuing to produce her own work and collaborate with others.
Among other educational tasks, he has mentored the development of more than 400 feature film scripts and more than 600 short film scripts.
As a result of that collaboration, in 2025 he was awarded the Professional Career Award.

Since 2019 he has been working on different literary works:
2019 - "PERSONAL ENCYCLOPEDIA OF MEMORY"
2020 - "DIARY OF A LOCKDOWN" or how to cope with the uncertain days of the pandemic
2023-2025- “THE LIGHT OF ANCIENT DAYS” Which will be a book composed of more than forty stories and tales.
2026 - "The Trade"
