Career path

Composer and researcher, he has received commissions from groups, orchestras and entities such as INAEM, CNDM, SGAE, Plural Ensemble, Ensemble Inner Pulse, Castilla y León Symphony Orchestra, Principality of Asturias Symphony Orchestra, Oviedo Philharmonic, Contemporary Music Festival of Tres Cantos, Botín Foundation, Museum of Fine Arts of A Coruña, Festival Cristóbal Halffter, etc.  

His works have been performed in Europe and America by groups and orchestras such as Plural Ensemble, Espai Sonor, Manufaktur für Aktuelle Musik, OCAZEnigma, CEPROMUSIC, OSCyL, OSPA, Oviedo Filarmonía, etc; directors such as Marzio Conti, Maximiano Valdés, Fabián Panisello, Susanne Blumenthal, Andrew Gourlay, Rossen Milanov, Yaron Traub, etc.; and soloists, such as Adolfo G. Arenas, Jonathan Thomson, Alfonso Noriega, Garth Knox or Nikola Tanaskovic, among others. His music has been recorded by RTVE and the Recording Consort.

As a researcher and lecturer, he collaborates with various institutions such as the University of Oviedo, the Botín Foundation, the University of Navarra Museum, UNAM, RCSMM, the Superior Conservatory of Badajoz, etc. and specialized magazines, such as Revista de Musicología, Musiker, Roseta, etc. dealing with topics around the music of the XNUMXth and XNUMXst centuries and musical analysis. Likewise, he is a regular collaborator as a lecturer and disseminator in the Principality of Asturias Symphony Orchestra.
