Career path
Antonio M. Villalba (Málaga, 1998) holds a PhD in Communication from Pompeu Fabra University. He teaches as a tenured professor of Film Aesthetics and Acting Techniques Applied to Screenwriting at the University School of Arts. TAI (Madrid). His research focuses on the study of acting gestures in film from the perspective of preserving the performer's figurative intent. In parallel, he pursues a career as a film director; his latest productions are the short films Anti-self-tape (2026) CONFLICT (2025) Time 4 (2024) and The screams (2023).
