As a composer, he has published with the Piles publishing house the works Seven pieces for classical guitar and the collection of original works for students LogbookIn addition to classical compositions, he began writing jazz-fusion pieces, founding Álvaro Rodríguez Trio with their own compositions and arrangements.
He has released a classical guitar CD with works by Albéniz, Turina, Falla, Rodrigo and Tárrega.

José, Ponce, Turina and Moreno-Torroba.
