Career path
He has worked in theater, film and television for over 20 years.
Founder and artistic director of the Winged Cranes theater company since 2009, her shows have been seen in international theaters and festivals in various European cities, the United States, India, China, and Ecuador. The show Bernarda's Backstage, selected by the AECID (Spanish Association of Educational Institutions) and the Instituto Cervantes, toured internationally in 2014 and 2015, highlighting her participation in the IF Festival in Milan and the Ishara Festival in India. She appeared on the cover of Marie Claire magazine's newsletter edition in India. The play Chernobyl premiered in the Sala Roja of the Teatros del Canal in 2019.
His artistic career has developed in the United States, the United Kingdom, and Spain. He has worked and collaborated with international theater companies such as Blind Summit, as assistant director and tour manager on the Edinburgh Fringe-winning productions Low Life and Citizen Puppet. With them and with Improbable Theatre, he has been part of the creative team on several large-scale theater productions and operas, including The Magic Flute and Le Rossignol at the Bregenz Festival in 2015 and The Little Match Girl at the Spoleto Festival in 2016 in Charleston, USA.
In 2018, he directed, designed, and created more than 100 bunraku-style puppets for the Magic Flute of the Andes at Ecuador's National Theater. In 2022, he designed and directed the puppetry and stage movement team for the European premiere of the opera Florence in the Amazon at the Tenerife Auditorium, also designing its puppets.
She is currently preparing the show Semiramis 2.0, The Monster, of which she is also the director and adapter, for the 26/27 season (tba).
Currently, she combines her artistic practice with teaching and teaches acting classes in the URJC's Bachelor's and Master's degree programs at the University Studies Center. TAIarts.
