Career path
Soledad Velasco is a screenwriter and director with a multidisciplinary profile that combines the audiovisual creation of fiction and documentary projects with the coordination and management of cultural projects. She has extensive experience working on development teams at film and television production companies, as well as in executive production coordination for international festivals and markets. Her film, television, and documentary projects have received awards and been selected for various international programs.peña As a teacher and script doctor, she supports creative processes and project development. She holds a degree in Arts (UBA) and a Master's degree in Screenwriting for TV Series (ECAM, Madrid).

Research lines
I primarily work in audiovisual project development for production companies, writing and crafting narratives that resonate with a dynamic market. I focus on writing in-depth projects, preparing dossiers and pitches to present to production companies and platforms. Additionally, as a documentary director, I explore relevant themes, conduct research, and produce documentaries that address these topics. My first film premiered at the Mar del Plata International Film Festival and was selected for over 20 international festivals. My projects have received grants and support from public institutions, and I have received funding for their production.
