Career path
Screenwriter, director and producer.
He has written, directed and produced 5 short films: Stockholm, Postcards from the moon, Solstice, Domesticated y The scar, which bring together more than 300 selections at international festivals (San Sebastián, Seminci, Seattle, Los Angeles, etc.) and more than 100 awards in 25 countries.
He has won the RTVA Award 4 times, the ASECAN Award 2 times and the Madrid Short Film Award. He has been shortlisted for the Goya Awards and the European Film Awards.
He has written and directed 7 plays. The last montage of him was The Colombine, a piece about the life of the writer and journalist Carmen de Burgos.
He has directed the Almería Western Film Festival between 2016 and 2019 and has collaborated in the content programming of various film festivals and film clubs.
Speaker and researcher at several international congresses, he develops lines of study around the interference between cinema, painting and architecture.
Recently, he has released his first fiction feature film, Amanece, played by Aura Garrido, Iria del Río and Isabel Ampudia.
