Career path

He is an actor, director, screenwriter, translator, and project creator. 

A recipient of the Fulbright Arts Scholarship for two consecutive years, he has trained at the most prestigious schools in Spain and North America.

Among his most notable theater works are The Laramie Project, The Enlightened, and When It Stops Raining at the Teatro Español; Things I Know to Be True for the Teatros del Canal; Tribes for the CDN; and Song of the First Wish at the Abbey and Belvoir Street Theater in Sydney, Australia. He has been nominated three times for the Actors Union Awards and won Best Supporting Actor in Theater in 2015. 

In film he has three Goya Award nominations for his fiction short films: Lemon Juice, The Boy Who Wanted to Fly and The Ephemeral.

Among other awards and grants, in addition to those already mentioned, he has received the Matadero Creation Grants in 2009 and 2011, the COGAM Culture Award (2011), and the MAX Award for best work of the year in 2015 for his production of When It Stops Raining by Andrew Bovell, together with the Teatro Español in Madrid. 

He is currently a guest member of the American company Tectonic Theater in its development of projects in Spanish.

-Award for best director for "The Boy Who Wanted to Fly" at The Richard Harris International Film Festival
-3 Goya nominations for "Lo efímero", "El niño que quería volar" and "Zumo de limón" in the category of best fiction short film.
