Career path

Since 2014 dempeña His professional career in musical theatre includes work as a teacher, performer, and musicological researcher. He was co-founder and vice-president of the Madrid Musical Theatre Cultural Association (ACTeM, 2015-19), after which he began collaborating with the country's leading musical theatre producers.

In the field of education, he specializes in repertoire, history, and analysis of Broadway musical theater. He has taught at SOM Academy, MEV, Coral Antón, and Bohemian Bocanegra Rhapsody Music schools, and has also participated in independent repertoire workshops and courses.

As a performer, he has participated in various productions as a pianist for auditions, rehearsals, and orchestras, as well as a musical director and assistant director. His collaborations with Stage Entertainment are particularly noteworthy. (Anastasia, The Lion King, Aladdin, Cinderella), let's go (Ghost, Kinky Boots, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, The Phantom of the Opera), Magic Spiral (Butterfly Ears, What Color Is a Kiss), The Lame Woman (Just another day) and Soho Theatre (Playing our song, Godspell).

She combines this work with musicological research on the history of Anglo-American musical theatre in Spain. Her contributions to publications are particularly noteworthy. West Side Story in Spain (Cambridge University Press, 2022) and The Cambridge History of Spanish Opera and Music Theater (CUP, publication expected in 2026).
