Fernando Martins

Co-founder and artistic director of the Mask Research Center (Madrid).

He is constantly developing research on theatre masks in Europe and America. He teaches workshops and workshops in European institutions, as well as in international companies and schools. He creates and develops leather masks for artists and theatre schools in Spain, Portugal, Belgium, Brazil, Italy, Japan, the United States and Germany.

At the Mask Research Centre he has directed several plays and taught courses covering mask pedagogy, including neutral, larval and expressive masks, as well as human comedy and commedia dell'arte. He also holds an annual international workshop on the manufacture of leather masks.
