Career path
Flamenco and contemporary dance dancer and choreographer, and a philosopher specializing in contemporary French aesthetics and philosophy. He also works as a creator and performer in dance and literature, and as a philosopher of art.
Thanks to the inclusion of your project Pensaor, a philosopher in the tablao en Excenario (AECID Catalog of Performing Arts and Music), has conducted numerous flamenco dance workshops for the Spanish embassies in the United Arab Emirates, Nicaragua, Australia, Finland, India, Malaysia, and South Africa.
Among his bibliographic publications are: Mirages of choreographic identity: aesthetics and transformations of the farruca, Behind closed doors: sexual dissidence and gender nonconformity in the flamenco tradition e A Queer History of Flamenco: Detours, Transitions, and Returns in Flamenco Dance (1808–2018).
