Career path
Director and screenwriter.
He has directed more than thirty short films, exploring a wide variety of narratives and characters.
His works have been shown in hundreds of festivals, receiving dozens of national and international awards. Notable among them are his 8 nominations for the Méliès Award and his nomination for the Goya for best fiction short film for his short film downunder.
He makes his feature film debut with Standard (2020), for which he also wrote the script and edited it, the first Spanish film to be awarded the Vanguard Comedy Award at the Austin Film Festival.
In addition, he has co-directed the feature films The passenger (premiered in Sitges 2021) and Old (2022, premiered at the Fantasia Film Festival in Montreal and Sitges).
