Career path
César Pérez is a director of photography and an Arri Academy certified teacher.
He studied photography for a year at the EFTI school and then at the Madrid Community Film School (ECAM) where he graduated in 2004. Since then he has worked as a director of photography in fiction, documentary and advertising.
As a director of photography, he has shot several feature films and worked on television series for TVE1 and Telecinco. In advertising, he has been the director of photography for commercials for Orange, Skoda, Braun, Sony, Burger King, and others. He has also shot feature-length documentaries for Prime Video and short documentaries for brands such as Zara, Huawei, and BBVA.
