Beatriz Gómez

Analyst, script consultant, script doctor and screenwriter.

Collaborates with film producers, studios and independent professionals, providing support in the management and development of audiovisual projects at every stage of the creative process.

In 2015 she was content delegate at Atresmedia Cine, and in 2020 she joined the new joint venture Buendía Estudios as development executive in the Spanish cinema area. During this stage she was also the external coordinator of Book and Film Rights (Planeta Editorial).

He has participated in the development of films and literary adaptations of great scope and commercial success: the man of the thousand faces, by Alberto Rodriguez; The bar, by Alex de la Iglesia; Time afterby José Luis Cuerda; Shadow of the law, by Dani de la Torre; El reino, by Rodrigo Sorogoyen; The invisible guest, by Oriol Paulo; Klaus, by Sergio Pablos (nominated for an Oscar); three installments of Father there is only one, by Santiago Segura; The laws of the border, by Daniel Monzón (Goya for best adapted screenplay); God's crooked lines, by Paco Plaza; Dragon Keeper, by Salvador Simó, among others.

On the international level, he worked at the Dragon Lion Media production company in Los Angeles, and in 2023 he was content manager at Scenic Rights, coordinating the Spanish department along with the LATAM and Mexico offices. He has also worked as a scriptwriter and sound technician at Globomedia, Diagonal TV and Onda Cero Radio.

He collaborates with schools and other institutions, tutoring, as a committee and jury, projects and script laboratories and incubators (SGAE Foundation, Cima Impulsa, Madrid Film Institute, TAI, UNIR, ECAM), as well as with festivals, evaluating and advising projects in the Mafiz section of the Malaga Festival and in markets such as Iberseries Platino and Conecta Fiction.

Has collaborated with TAI as a jury in the Master of Screenwriting for Film and TV Series and gave a masterclass on “The foundations and characteristics of a development department” in this same master.
