You will develop the skills necessary to write, develop, and present screenplay projects with professional potential. Throughout the master's program, you will work on fiction and non-fiction writing, from the initial idea to the sales dossier, combining narrative technique, constant practice, and a real understanding of the audiovisual industry.
You'll learn to create solid characters, structures, and universes, to work as part of a team on film, television, and unscripted projects, and to defend your scripts before industry professionals. The master's program prepares you to turn your ideas into viable projects, aligned with real-world development, production, and sales processes.

To be a screenwriter, you need training in screenwriting, narrative structure, and audiovisual project development. This master's program prepares you to write and develop fiction and non-fiction projects for film, television series, and streaming platforms, working with active professionals.
The Master in Screenwriting lasts 1 academic year (60 ECTS) and is taught in person, on our campus in the center of Madrid, with an intensive approach and geared towards professional practice.
Admission is granted through an educational orientation interview. It is aimed at individuals familiar with narrative writing, audiovisual production, or related disciplines.
