SCHOLARSHIP TAI PHOTO VIII Edition
We already have the winners of the VIII Edition of the Scholarships #TAIPHOTO! This call is a unique opportunity to professionalize the passion for photography. Those works that reflect the ability and sensitivity in the use of contemporary languages, in addition to the personality expressed in the images and the coherence of the project presented, have been especially valued.
JURY
The jury has been made up of reference teachers in the Area of Visual Arts and Digital Creation of TAI and professionals who know the challenges of the contemporary image:
Angélica Soleiman
Photography curator and professional photographer, curator of international photography exhibitions and coordinator of the Area of Visual Arts and Digital Creation. She has worked in different institutions in America, Asia and Europe and is one of the few specialists in contemporary digital image conservation in Spain.
Marius Ionut Scarlat
Recognized and awarded documentary photographer in various national and international competitions such as PhotoEspaña, World Nomads, Visa pour l ́image or Matera European Photography, among many others. Winner of the Bookmaking Scholarship at Magnum Photos and nominated for Futures Photography by PhotoEspaña. He is an alumni of Master Official in Artistic and Documentary Photography, as well as a teacher in the Visual Arts Area of TAI.
Roson Saleta
Patron of the Ankaria Foundation and private collector. She carries out her training in photography at the B19 School with Nacho Rubiera and Angélica Soleiman. He participates in numerous courses and workshops, including those given by the photographer Rafael Navarro.
Ale Megale
Photographer specialized in the world of advertising with a multidisciplinary work that ranges from the fashion, beauty and decoration sector to editorial photography or drawing. Winner of several Lux Awards for his work as a photographer and retoucher and Honorable Mention at the International Photography Awards New York.
Peace Guadalix
Director and coordinator of the Alcobendas Art Center.
