Thanks to an agreement between TAI and SGAE Foundation, students and alumni of TAI worked on the filming of “Nocturnidad”, a short film that won Madrid create your short which has finally premiered at the Sala Berlanga.

Collaboration between TAI and SGAE Foundation in the script competition Madrid create your short has meant for the students a approach to the film industry and a great opportunity to be part of the creative development of audiovisual projects.

The filming and premiere of Nocturnity has not only enriched the experience and training practice of young artists, but has also allowed expose and publicize this short film among professionals in the sector, thus promoting the employability and network of contacts of our students.

About the filming and premiere of Nocturnidad
TAI Productions has been in charge of the production and filming of this short directed by Rodrigo Santamaría, competition winner and student of TAI. Students from different disciplines (Film, Performing Arts, Visual Arts and Music) have been part of the technical and artistic team, giving life to this intriguing work of mystery that addresses the theme of sexist violence from the perspective of the two main characters Jaime and Cristina.
April 16 "Nocturnity" came to the screen of the Berlanga room with the help of the filming team and Rodrigo Santamaría. After the screening, attendees were able to enjoy a discussion with the director in which he shared his own vision of the work and the filming experience with his co-stars TAI.

About "Nocturnity"
Jaime has worked the night shift as a doorman in an upper-class building for many years. One night he meets Cristina, an older neighbor who behaves strangely and keeps insisting that he come up to her apartment with her. Jaime soon begins to suspect that something bad is happening. A disturbing psychological horror story written and directed by Rodrigo Santamaría and starring Isabel Ampudia, Juan Carlos Bellido and Luis Quijano.
