Description
User T38 is a production company and post-production, graphic design, 2D and 3D animation and concept art studio founded in 2001 and based in Madrid. With a wide portfolio of clients and always from a creative point of view, they have worked for renowned directors such as Guillermo del Toro or Alejandro Amenábar. They develop projects both in advertising and in movies and series, highlighting their participation in the El Cid o big, work that was awarded a Goya for special effects.
At an employability meeting held in TAI We have the participation of two of the producers that make up the multidisciplinary team of User T38, Alfonso Casado Diez and Vicente Ruiz de León.
Alfonso Casado Diez currently works as a production coordinator at Mikros Animation (Montreal, Quebec, Canada) and has been a VFX producer at User T38, participating in multiple feature films such as This is the Night Mail (dir. Andrew Goth & Joanne Reay, Unquiet Skulls), Two Cows and a Donkey (dir. Jesús del Cerro, from ATM, the producer of TAI) or Color Out of Space (dir. Richard Stanley, SpectreVision). Likewise, he has worked in advertising for clients such as Movistar, Universal Music, Coca Cola, Cupra, RTVE or Netflix.
Vicente Ruiz de León is head of production (responsible for the film area) at User T38, as well as director/director, editor and producer at his own company, Lost Generation, with which he has worked on short films such as Night shift, competing in more than 100 festivals around the world. In addition, he has been post-production coordinator at Grupo Mediapro and DIT (digital imaging technician), cameraman and editor at Zeppelin TV.
