The University School of Arts TAI welcomes the new Erasmus students of the course 22/23
One more year, TAI has the pleasure of receiving artists from different parts of the world to continue their artistic training in Madrid. Her new adventure began on January 9 with Welcome Week, a starting point to generate new links between the students and link them to the dynamics of the School.
La experience It began with an informative talk and a welcome lunch. The students Erasmus they participated in different cultural and social activities to celebrate their arrival and generate a first contact with their colleagues. Among these, they visited the Prado Museum, where they enjoyed the main works of the Permanent Collection.
In addition, they visited Sonido Madrid, a photographic exhibition that covers the musical, national and international scene of Madrid between the years 2000 and 2022; the San Antonio de la Florida Hermitage, known for its impressive dome by Francisco de Goya y Lucientes; and the Temple of Debod, an Egyptian icon in the heart of Madrid.
Erasmus mobility program 22/23
As part of the International Mobility Program Erasmus+ 22/23, The University School of Arts TAI receives 25 international students from countries such as France, Chile, Mexico, Germany, Italy, Portugal, Canada and Colombia, where they study at recognized universities such as ESAM école superieure d'arts, Finis Terrae, CENTRO, Accademia di Belle Arti di Catania, ESA Saint-Luc Liège School of Art, Escola Superior de Música e Artes do Espectáculo, Instituto Politécnico de Leiria, Rome University of Fine Arts, ERAM, Concordia University, Accademia di Belle Arti di Bari, Berliner Hochschule für Technik (BHT) , Muthesius University of Fine Arts and Design, RheinMain University of Applied Science, Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, Saint Louis College, University of Baja California.
By the students of TAI, 12 students travel to live the Erasmus+ experience in Staffordshire, Libera Accademia di Belle Arti, Leiria Polytechnic Institute, Tomas Bata University, Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design, JMC, Concordia University, Accademia di Belle Arti di Roma, Kingston in the countries from the United Kingdom, Italy, Portugal, the Czech Republic, Israel, Australia and Canada.
In a field as international as the art industry, the Erasmus+ program has extraordinary value for artists in training. Participating in the Erasmus+ International Mobility Program is not only an educational experience, but also a professional, cultural, social and life experience. Mobilities increase their technical, interpersonal, and intercultural skills and competencies, and also positively affect their self-esteem, ability to achieve goals, and social and cultural openness.
