School TAI promotes and supports the development of student film projects at festivals around the world
Only in this last year, the University School of Arts TAI has taken the best film projects to the festivals of national and international circuits, specifically with 140 selections and 16 awards at festivals. The School offers all film students a professional and specialized training that allows them to create quality audiovisual works.
One of the fundamental pillars of TAI es ART&CREATION, an area dedicated exclusively to the incubation, production and distribution of artistic projects of the Community. Arte&Creación seeks to build a place for interdisciplinary experimentation and creative development.
In addition, the School TAI has an agreement with Moira Picturesa distributor audiovisual that bets on innovation, the themes of present and disruptive narratives and that, in recent years, has helped various works of the Community TAI to get to big festivals.

Documentary short directed by Alejandro Rodríguez that brings together a total of 15 festival selections, among which its passage through the Goya qualifying festivals stands out Curtocircuíto, Alcine and Cinema Jove, its award for Best Documentary Short at OUFF27 and its participation in the 50th Athens International Film + Video Festival, a qualifying festival for the Oscars. It is also worth noting its time at the Cannes Film Festival thanks to its participation in the ICAA 2cool4school program as one of the best School short films in Spain.
Mia Moglie
fiction short film film-maker Ana Liébana, whose career stands out for its passage through the qualifying festivals of the Goya Mecal Pro 2022, the 50th edition of the Huesca International Film Festival and the Mostra de Curtas Noia 2022, winning the Best Director award in the latter.
In addition, Mia Moglie is currently permanently on the Filmin platform.

Carlos C. Insuela and Carla Voces triumph in the Official Selection of the Wicked Queer LGBTQ+ Film Festival in Boston, Official Selection of the Piélagos International Film Festival 2023, Official Selection of the International LGBTIQA+ Film Festival "Amor es Amor" 2023, in Argentina. His first participation in a Goya qualifier will take place this coming week, when his short film will be presented at the Alicante Film Festival, as part of the LGTBI short film section.
Waiting for the wind
Experimental short film directed by Emiliano Reyes, which had its premiere in the official section of CineYouth 2023, a festival for young filmmakers presented by the Chicago International Film Festival, qualifier for the Oscars.
I come to look for you
Short film directed by Jose Provencio, has been included this year in the ICAA 2cool4school program, as one of the best School short films in Spain, thanks to which it has passed through the Malaga and Cannes markets. It premiered at Andalesgai, one of the first LGTBI film festivals to be held in Spain.
Mina Mena
Short film directed by Noelia Míguez whose premiere took place in the seventh edition of the Skyline Benidorm Film Festival, a Goya qualifying festival. It has also been selected in the New Litter Section of the Cans Festival (Galicia), and in the Galician cinema exhibition Vinte.
TAI support the talent of the Community
In addition to student projects, TAI He also promotes the works of his entire Community. One of the most successful cases is the short film Romeo, directed by Sara G. Cortijo. The film has been awarded the Silver Biznaga for Best Documentary Short Film Malaga at the Malaga Film Festival 2022, is Canal Sur Radio y Televisión (CSRTV) Award for Andalusian Audiovisual Creation at the Cabra Audiovisual Contest (Córdoba) 2022 and Award for Best Short Film in the Official Section of the Mairena Film Festival of Seville 2023.
In addition, it has been selected at WomenTime- II Canary Islands Women's Film Festival 2022, Palencia International Film Festival 2023, Cinema Jove 2023, the Ciudad Real Short Film Festival 2023 and Guarimba International Film Festival (Italy) 2023.
