Directed by Karlos Gil, Origin evokes a mysterious and futuristic way of life from the depths of Madrid
Origin is the new project of Art and Creation, has been produced by Ars GuerrillaSpecializing in projects innovative and experimental audiovisuals of an authorial nature. The students and students of TAI have had the opportunity to be part of the filming team and to work under the direction of KARLOS GIL, an internationally renowned artist and teacher of TAI. For his part, MANUEL ÁLVAREZ, has participated as still photo and executive producer.
The film is presented as a Important milestone both for A&C and for the technical and artistic team, since it has been shot in the depths and bowels of Madrid. The piece, in collaboration with Canal Isabel II, has been recorded in subway tunnels, the M30 and abandoned subways.
The medium-length film will be presented in three contemporary art museums such as CA2M and will be distributed by Moira Pictures in national and international festivals.

About Origin
The medium-length film Origin evokes a futuristic way of life in a mysterious landscape deep within the earth. The underworld of the railway chambers, excavated over time, harbors remains of lost civilizations and evolved species of our world. Sound and text intertwine to create a meditation on time, memory, ruins and extinction.
This film will be recorded in the underground of Madrid where the abandoned metro stations and the forgotten subways will allow the artist to open a kind of intermediate zone where the spectators, sometimes intruders or voiyers, are immersed in a flow of events and audiovisual elements. This film investigates the erosion of memory and the corruption of information, revealing how ideas can be eroded by the effects of time and technology.
The edition infects matter with memory with the help of the fusion of the future and the past of science fiction.
