The University School of Arts TAI returns to be part of the MMMAD Festival

One more year, TAI collaborates with the MMMAD Festival to value the art of the new generations. This time, she does it with a multimedia installation by the artist Pablo Durango, who will transform the showcase of the headquarters together with a group of students from the School.

drag up

Under the title drag up, Durango proposes to develop a research experience on own identity by drag and tools 3D creation. Using our own body and contemporary digital techniques, the students will build a series of characters giving them own narratives and characteristics.

This experience is considered as a conceptual and playful drift, whose ultimate goal is the experimentación fuera of the system traditional generic sex categories. An investigation of self listening and speculative fiction where the "I" is mutable and the self-story a blank canvas. Play to be another person and imagine the possibilities of our identity in other physical-digital worlds.
