Sergio Pernas presents Eros and Thanatos, a film series of the Cinema Renoir Consultans Program
The new film cycle, presented by Sergio Pernas, is based on the concept of Eros and Thanatos Freud and the book by the philosopher Eugenio Trias on The beautiful and the sinister, the sinister as the limit and condition of the beautiful.
"The main idea is to project on the big screen those films that have managed to combine both concepts and give a show that the small screen cannot compete with."
The cycle will take place every Thursday, from March 30 to April 27 at 19:10 p.m. at Cines Renoir Princesa. In the sessions the following will be projected films: John Wick 4 (Chad Stahelski, 2023), M (George Miller, 2015), Climax (Gaspar Noé, 2018) and Shadow, (Zhang Yimou, 2018) with subsequent meeting and colloquium among attendees and special guests related to the film industry, psychologists and journalists.
The University School of Arts TAI and Cines Renoir present, within the framework of the Cinema Renoir Consultants Program, the film cycle Eros and Thanatos, a proposal created and coordinated by Sergio Pernas, student of the Master in Film and TV Series Script.
