The third Employment and Entrepreneurship Fair for the Community arrives TAI
From the Employment and Entrepreneurship Unit, we present the 3rd Employment and Entrepreneurship Fair in this 2023-2024 academic year, event that will take place from November 20 to 28 and with which we continue to link students with the industry for their professional development.
About the Employment and Entrepreneurship Fair
The Employment and Entrepreneurship Fair continues the cycle of meetings and workshops with the industry and its professionals that takes place throughout the academic year, focusing on a special event for two weeks focused on employability and entrepreneurship in the arts.
This job fair, in its third edition, has among its objectives provide valuable information to students and bring young people in training closer to the reality of the labor market through different professionals, companies and reference entities for their expansion and career projection. The event is made up of a series of special activities and meetings so that students can learn first-hand about some of the most in-demand professional opportunities, what artistic talent companies are looking for, or examples of entrepreneurship in the arts.
The agents involved in these activities are companies and professionals who carry out their activity in the industry around the disciplines of Performing Arts, Music, Visual Arts, Film, Music and Postproduction.

1. WORK IN A CREATIVE STUDIO SPECIALIZED IN ART, DESIGN AND TECHNOLOGY

The speaker will talk to us about how the VFX industry has evolved over the years, the projects it develops, the different professional profiles that make up its team, personal and professional experiences, etc.
Miriam Piquer has participated in films, series and documentaries in almost 50 productions, two of them winners of the Goya for Best Special Effects (Balada Triste de Trumpeta” in 2010, and “Las Brujas de Zugarramurdi” in 2013). In 2021 and 2022, It has been nominated for the Goya Awards and the Gaudí Awards in the Best Visual Effects category.

9. THE MUSIC PRODUCER: CREATIVE AND TECHNICAL LEADER OF A PROJECT.

In this session the speaker will share with those attending the meeting the story of his career to date, He will explain his role as a producer and his functions, as well as perform a motivational analysis on the set of skills that help achieve goals and professional success.
Nat Powers has worked with artists such as Snoop Dogg, Wu Tang, Greentea Peng, Ptazeta, J Balvin, Vicco, Recycled J, Fernando Costa, Janet Jackson, Eminem and many others. He is currently developing a television series with his trio, which they plan to bring to Netflix in 2024.

12. THE WORLD OF MUSICAL COMPOSITION IN VIDEO GAMES.

Taught by Rubén Rincón, sound designer for video games for more than 10 years.
It will explain what the work of a sound designer consists of, how sound for video games differs from sound for other media such as film or TV, differences between projects they develop and what the current national and international market is like.
Ruben Rincón currently works as Sound Director at Nomad Studio, creators of Gris and their next project, Neva. Some of the projects in which he has participated are Fall Guys, Gris, Rainbow Six: Siege or Assassin's Creed.

It will offer extensive knowledge of the production department and the sector, from how to manage the resources of a project to know what it costs to handle them at each scale of work until his involvement in the creative and aesthetic design part of the work, focusing on the locations department.
Cristina Coronado has worked in production teams for 15 years and experienced in different positions, from runner to production or location manager.

In November 2022 and March 2023, the first Employment and Entrepreneurship Fairs were held, providing a broad and diverse meeting point between the school's students and different arts professionals.
