Led by Manuel Álvarez, director of the Art & Creation area, in this laboratory the participants will explore the possibilities of advanced imaging as a technology from which BUILDING MULTIPLE STORIES OF THE CONTEMPORARY CITY. The workshop contains a high multidisciplinary contribution with musical composition, performing arts and experimental cinema.
The goal is the CREATION OF WORKS IN PHOTO AND VIDEO FORMAT with direct links to experimental film festivals, design publications, as well as architecture and exhibition spaces.

Manuel Álvarez He is one of the most influential visual artists in architecture and city photography. In his three decades traveling the world, he has photographed cities with a special emphasis on those located in Asia and the Middle East.
He has co-directed and produced the feature film Trains Bound for the Sea (trains that go to the sea), recently premiered at the Malaga Film Festival and shot in Hong Kong and Seoul. His video pieces have won numerous awards at international experimental film festivals.
He is a regular contributor to publications such as Wired, CNN, Arquitectura Viva, Harper's Bazaar, Architectural Digest, Elle Decor, Designboom, and Dezeen, among many others.
