Marius Ionut Scarlat

Based between Romania and Spain, he began his career as a documentary photographer after completing the Master in Artistic Photography in TAI. Her work has been recognized and awarded in several national and international competitions such as PhotoEspaña, The Emerging Photographer Fund. (Magnum Foundation), World Nomads, Visa pour l ́image or Matera European Photography, among others.

He received a Bookmaking Scholarship at Magnum Photos and has been nominated by PhotoEspaña for Futures Photography. In addition, he has received a long-term mentoring grant at Magnum Photos and is currently working with Gregory Halpern Alessandra Sanguinetti on his project.

He teaches classes at the University School of Arts TAI in the Official Degree in Photography and Audiovisual Creation and in the Master Official in Artistic and Documentary Photography.
