For decades, human beings have been designing mechanisms and artifacts to generate creative products and services, including art. In this era of technological convergence, what is the potential of generative AI in creative content production? What knowledge and skills should we develop in the growing human-machine collaboration?

Through practice we will investigate how to nourish and improve our creation process and learn about new perspectives on design, in order to awaken our imagination and achieve results that reflect our own identity, an individual and singular seal.

Tutoring is individualized, so profiles who wish to work on photography projects, graphic design, branding, innovation, marketing, advertising, communication, moodboards, interior and exterior design, conservation and restoration, architecture, product design, illustrations are welcome. , creation of avatars, ideation of characters for cartoons or video production or video games, among others.

Program

  • Explore the potential and creative limits of artificial intelligence that redefine the way we perceive and create visual art.
  • Learn the fundamentals of prompt engineering (ChatGPT*), understanding the nuances and details necessary to iteratively refine the instructions.
  • Acquire knowledge about artistic movements and styles, pictorial elements and techniques, aesthetics, photographic techniques and compositions, dynamics of perception, visual thinking to enrich the digital work.
  • Achieve pro status in Midjourney* and DALL-E*, flagship generative AI platforms for image production.
  • Provide audio and synthetic music to visual productions.
  • Apply best practices in fundamental and advanced functions for optimizing configuration and tuning parameters of generative AI tools.
  • Identify ethical and legal challenges
  • Bias, copyright, intellectual property.
  • Know the possibilities of immersive art and its monetization capacity.
  • Acquire criteria to stay up to date with the latest advances in the field of generative art.

Project

Development of co-creative design research and/or creation of digital work with multimodal artificial intelligence tools.

*The proposed software will be re-evaluated before the start of the course in order to know the state of the art of the generative AI market and thus be able to work with the best tools.

She has experience in strategic design as a differentiating element of the competition, design in innovation, design as a process to improve products and services, and user experience design.

is founder of Metaverse for good, an interdisciplinary laboratory that explores the technological convergence that shapes physical and virtual worlds with the aim of designing solutions with essential values ​​of humanism, individual and social ethics. He carries out research on the biological meaning of art, perception in the arts, human creativity, neuroaesthetics and how generative AI impacts the different ways of conceiving and acquiring knowledge.

In addition, she is director of the bioethics and neuroethics area at OdiseIA (Observatory for the social and ethical impact of Artificial Intelligence) and head of the Madrid City Council's Big Data Cluster Working Group "Neurodata, Artificial Intelligence and Neurotechnologies".

Aimed at students aged 18 and over with basic audiovisual knowledge.
